Raya Hana Chairwoman

Raya is a first year master student of the Drug Discovery and Safety program at the VU Amsterdam. After obtaining her bachelor degree in pharmaceutical sciences she realized the beauty of this field as you can expand your knowledge and see the impact you make on the world with that knowledge almost immediately. In her free time she enjoys art, reading and discovering new places. As a part time job she works at the international theatre of Amsterdam, to enhance her interest in the many forms of culture in the city. She hopes that with this trip she and the rest of the group can expand their knowledge together and gain valuable experiences.

Chelsea Tawiah Secretary

Chelsea is a first year Drug Discovery and Safety student at the VU Amsterdam. In addition to her studies she has a part time job as a laboratory employee at Holland Diagnostics. In her free time she enjoys anything related to art, fashion, and literature. By joining this board of students she hopes to combine her interest in project management with her passion for traveling, to offer her fellow students a trip that is fun, educational and most of all unforgettable.

Elisa van het Groenewoud Treasurer

Elisa is a fourth year Pharmaceutical Sciences student at the VU Amsterdam. Aside from her studies she works at a local pharmacy and takes part in three student commissions. During her spare time she mostly enjoys things related to music, whether it’s playing and listening to music or going to concerts. She is also very passionate about traveling and does it as much as she can! When joining the board of students to organize this trip she hopes to share her love for traveling with her fellow students and make it a valuable learning experience to never forget.

Demi Nuberg Commissioner Education

Demi is in her fourth year of the bachelor Pharmaceutical Sciences at the VU Amsterdam. During her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and hanging out with friends. She also loves traveling and exploring new places. Which makes this opportunity to organize a trip abroad perfect for her. She hopes that by joining the board, she will create a memorable trip for everyone joining, with interesting visits to pharmaceutical companies and especially a lot of fun.
